Schritt 2 / 4 - Schale ablösen

Nachdem man die Mandarinenschale rundherum aufgeschnitten hat, sollte man zunächst das kleinere Stück abheben. Wenn dieses dabei einreißt, so ist das kein Problem. Dann muss man aber sehr vorsichtig sein, denn bei einem Riss in der Schale läuft nachher das Olivenöl aus und man kann die Kerze so gut wie nicht verwenden (oder nur kurz). Daher sollte man behutsam mit einem Löffel zwischen die Schale und das Fruchtfleisch gleiten (wie gesagt, bei einer Satsuma geht das am einfachsten) und beides voneinander lösen.
