Das Furnier ist jetzt noch mit deutlichem Übermaß auf der Abdeckung. Speziell bei so brüchigem Furnier wie dem Wurzelholz empfiehlt es sich, den genauen Zuschnitt erst nach dem Grundieren vorzunehmen....

Schritt 2 / 4 - Furnier biegen

Soll ein Blatt gebogen werden, dieses zunächst an der entsprechenden Stelle anfeuchten und anschließend ohne Leim über die Krümmung legen. Hilfreich sind weitere Furnierbögen (nicht Wurzelholz, sondern welches mit paralleler Maserung), die ein wenig Druck aufzubauen helfen. Nachdem das Furnier in der gebogenen Position getrocknet ist, kann es aufgeleimt werden (langsame Trocknung hilft Risse im Furnier zu vermeiden).
